MEMBERSHIP of ACOR ACOR members bring significant expertise and experience to public policy formulation and actively liaise with government at all levels to promote economically and environmentally sustainable consumer and industrial recycling. Current ACOR membership spans the following sectors:-

- Plastics – HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PET, PVC,
- Mercury
- Tyres,
- Whitegoods
ACOR supports Alternate Technologies where such technologies incorporate resource recovery and the separated materials meet the ACOR materials specifications.
ACOR MEMBERHIP CATEGORIES In 2009, ACOR revised its constitution to open up membership to the widest range of businesses across Australia in the resource recovery and recycling sector. Membership is now open to companies in the following three four categories:
Platinum Corporate Membership
- For large businesses with an annual turnover exceeding $50 million or businesses wanting to play a senior role in ACOR’s strategic role and direction
Gold Corporate Membership
- For successful businesses with an annual turnover exceeding $10 million or businesses with lower turnover wanting to enjoy the benefits of Gold membership
Silver Corporate Membership
- For small to medium enterprises with an annual turnover up to $5 million or local governments or government owned enterprises with activities in the recycling sector
Associate Membership
- For all other organisations wishing to participate in ACOR activities
