Amcor Australasia is a major manufacturer of metal, plastic and fibre packaging in Australia and New Zealand and is currently building a glass packaging plant in South Australia.

In Australia, the group manages Amcor’s packaging paper mills and recycling activities. The group operates approximately 65 manufacturing plants and holds a significant market share in the region.

For more than 120 years Amcor has provided effective, innovative and economically viable paper and cardboard recycling services that have recovered and recyled more than 35 million tonnes of wastepaper and cardboard. The company recycles over 800,000 tonnes of waste paper and cardboard boxes into packaging each year.
